Our History

INCH was founded in 1984 by a group of families who were seeking to find ways to legally home educate their children in West Michigan. This quickly expanded to helping families throughout the state. As we expanded we also became a conduit for home educating families to share a variety of information and resources with each other.

INCH presently employs an Executive Director/Legislative Liaison, Office Manager/Convention Coordinator and a Secretary/Support Group Coordinator, all on a part-time basis.
