If you are wanting to homeschool or know someone considering homeschooling that has their children currently in public school then you will need to unenroll your student from their current school. Once you unenroll your children, you will be all set to teach them as you feel is best for your family and children. Michigan is a great state to homeschool in because every parent can choose the best education plan for their children.
Here are the steps to unenroll your student and begin homeschooling.
This form is only for current students of Michigan public schools.
- Download the form.
- Fill in the form with your current information.
- Send the letter to the school: Your child is now withdrawn!
- If the school asks for additional measures: do not go to the school. Instead, respond by email or mail a letter of assurance.
